Working closely with Product Managers, suppliers, branches, and the transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring products, pricing, stock, and supplier information are managed effectively.The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
✅Maintain accurate product pricing, stock records, and purchasing data within internal systems, ensuring all updates are completed accurately and on time.
✅Support Product Managers with product ordering, stock replenishment, and inventory management to ensure product availability and efficient stock levels.
✅Analyse stock movements, sales trends, and inventory reports to support purchasing decisions and identify stock discrepancies, variances, or transfer issues.
✅Process requisitions and raise purchase orders with suppliers, maintaining effective supplier relationships and communication.
✅Verify supplier invoices, statements, pricing, and haulage charges, resolving discrepancies and following up on outstanding credit notes where required.
✅Produce accurate stock, pricing, rebate, and management reports, ensuring deadlines are met and month-end processes are supported.
✅Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, branch teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery, stock, and invoice-related issues and ensure efficient business operations.About You

CCF, Wales’ biggest farmer-owned co-operative, have a vacancy for an Administration/Retail Assistant to work mainly at our busy Tregaron branch, although you may occasionally be asked to provide cover at our Aberystwyth and Felinfach branches.
This is a permanent, full-time vacancy with alternate Saturday mornings, equating to 42 hours per week.
The role involves providing support to various departments to ensure that pricing, orders and stock records are correct, and also providing support on the shop floor when required, including serving and advising customers.
The candidate must be competent with computers, detail-orientated and have the ability to prioritise workload. Pre-existing AMTRA qualifications would be ideal but are not essential as full training will be provided. Agricultural knowledge and the ability to speak Welsh would also be an advantage.

Recruitment now will allow the successful candidate some months working alongside the current manager to enable him/her to take the helm as manager in December. As this branch has strong footfall and high sales volumes, the successful candidate must already have a proven track record in the management of all aspects of branch operations, ideally in the agricultural sector, ensuring excellent service for our customers while driving sales and profitability.Key Responsibilities
