We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our busy agricultural retail branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a proactive approach to sales and takes pride in maintaining a well-presented retail environment.
As a key member of the branch team, you will play an important role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service while supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the retail area.

Key Responsibilities
✅Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure customers are served promptly and professionally.
✅Assist customers with enquiries, product selection and problem resolution.
✅Promote products, services and seasonal campaigns to maximise sales opportunities.
✅Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
✅Maintain high standards of merchandising and ensure displays are attractive, organised and in line with company guidelines.
✅Ensure stock is replenished, rotated and displayed appropriately.
✅Monitor stock levels and report shortages or slow-moving items to management.
✅Assist with stocktaking and inventory management activities.
✅Process customer transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
✅Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming retail environment.
✅Support compliance with UFAS standards and company procedures.
✅Contribute positively to the branch team and support colleagues where required.

Skills & Experience
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.
• Agricultural knowledge or experience within the agricultural industry and the ability to speak Welsh would be and advantage but not essential.
•AMTRA qualification desirable

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our busy branch team. This is a hands-on role that is vital to ensuring our customers receive excellent service and that stock is managed efficiently and safely.
If you enjoy practical work, take pride in keeping things organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. Agricultural knowledge is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
✅Receiving, storing, and organising stock within the warehouse.
✅Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate stock levels.
✅Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
✅Operating a forklift truck and warehouse equipment (where trained).
✅Keeping the warehouse and yard clean, safe, and well organised.
✅Serving customers and assisting with product collections and enquiries.
✅Supporting the Branch Manager in maintaining Health & Safety and UFAS standards.
✅Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch.

What We’re Looking For

HGV Driver Vacancy

HGV 2 DRIVER VACANCY, CCF GLANRHYD
Due to continued expansion, CCF, Wales’ biggest farmer-owned co-operative, have an opportunity for a full-time HGV Class-2 driver to be based at our Glanrhyd Mill near Cardigan.

The role involves carrying out deliveries on the bulk-blower lorry, whilst providing a high level of customer service.

This is a full-time role comprising 40 hours per week, worked on a shift pattern of 06:15 a.m – 3.00 p.m or 8:15 a.m – 5:00 p.m. Additionally, some weekend work will be required, paid at 1.5x basic salary.

The successful candidate will have:
• A Class 2 licence
• A valid Digital Tachograph card and Driver CPC
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours, including Rules and Regulations WTD
• Good Customer Service and communication skills.
• A flexible approach to work, to include weekend availability
• Be willing to undertake significant seasonal overtime work
