Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men, and by coming together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against this disease. By supporting Prostate Cymru, you are helping to save lives and provide better outcomes for men affected by prostate cancer. Together, we can make a lasting difference.

Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cymru through various events and initiatives throughout the year. We invite you to join us in this important cause and help us reach our fundraising target. Thank you for your generosity and support.

What we’re doing

To kick off our fundraising efforts, we have planned a series of exciting events including car charity treasure hunts, a Welsh 3 peaks challenge and a ‘Name the lorry’ competition.

At the end of the year, we will hold a grand prize draw with fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses and suppliers.

Welsh Three Peaks Challenge

At the start of September, a team of CCF staff took on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, all in aid of Prostate Cymru, our Charity of the Year for 2024. Setting off at 4:30am to the peak of Snowdon, then on to Cadair Idris, and completing 19 hours later at the summit of Pen y Fan! Many congratulations to all who took part and thank you to everyone who supported this challenge all in aid of charity. Over £1600 has so far been contributed as part of the challenge – to show your support click ‘Donate Now’ on the top of this page.

Fun for Charity at our Open Day!

Alongside Welsh Rugby stars, customers and staff had a challenge during the recent Clynderwen branch open day. All enjoyed the challenge of fastest to correctly pass the rugby balls, and the longest welly wanging!

Car Treasure Hunts

During the summer, a number of our branches hosted local car treasure hunts. What better way to explore the local area and raise funds for a worthy cause? Everyone had plenty of fun and over £1200 was raised!
